Brenda Ferguson (July 9, 1959 – March 23, 2015 ) was always intrigued by hands and the stories they tell. One Hundred Hands was a shared artistic endeavor involving a series of 100 paintings. It was an opportunity for you to provide the images she painted...and a chance for Brenda to capture a moment in your time. On this blog she shared your images, the paintings they inspired and the process of creating them. She invited "you to join me, creating art together, hand in hand."

Family Jewels #037

Jana sent in this image of her and her family. She writes, " This is a photo from my niece's wedding this past summer. For our family weddings, we make a bracelet for each female family member." Cool bracelets...cool tradition, huh?

Beauty Girl #036

Mary-Jane sent this image of Beauty Girl. I don't paint horses often, so it was a fun one to do. I hope I've captured her majestic spirit.

Relaxation #035

This is Jen. She's my friend, an ex-colleague in my past education life and one of the best teachers I know. Her mom got this painting for her as a Christmas surprise and we pulled it off brilliantly if I must say!
